Funerals with Special Meaning | Personalised funeral service
I qualified as a social worker and worked for many years as a probation officer. In my professional career, I have worked in a supporting role with many different groups of people including children and families, offenders, people with learning difficulties, older persons, and those who are terminally ill.
I bring my learning and experience of working with people to my work as a funeral celebrant.
I have obtained the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy which is considered one of the most recognized qualifications in Funeral Celebrancy in the UK. My skills and suitability for the role have been rigorously observed and assessed.
To this I can add my experience as a funeral celebrant which means I have a personal understanding of what families would like and expect from me.
I will use sensitivity, empathy and understanding to create and conduct a personal ceremony for the funeral you are arranging.
I aim to deliver a funeral ceremony with special meaning.
Here you can listen to my interview on BBC Radio Oxford discussing celebrancy and end of life planning in more depth.
